...and suddenly it was the end of June...

Summer days in Vermont pass by at an un-holy speed. There have been road-trips and a cross-country flight, the planting of a small garden plot and enjoying plants thriving on the porch, deadlines met (and a few that have been extended), and all in all… I’m on the other side. I feel so truly me, more so than I have in years. There’s a certain clarity that the last few months have brought, around who I am, what I am responsible for, and the importance of relationships.

My art has become more personal and is mostly in my bullet journal… but as my workload eases up I’m making more concrete plans about what projects I want to put out into the world — in the meantime, I am hoping to hang some older pieces soon in a local store, and attempting to finish some creative client work.

Sebastian is doing great as an indoor cat. We still remind each other daily that even though we aren’t where we thought we would be, well, where we are is pretty darn awesome.
