Sharing Art

Hello, hello! How is everyone’s 2022 going? So far, so good up here in Vermont. <fingers crossed>

I posted on Facebook and Instagram today, and was thinking how odd social media is in regards to art. At least for me. It creates a feeling of “if you don’t post, it didn’t happen.” I really enjoy sharing online, but can sometimes feel the pressure to let everyone know I am working on Something.

So, here’s my latest Something! I’ve been drawing buildings off and on for a few months now, and I want to make a collection of chicken coops :-) My hope is to start asking people I know to submit photos of their coops and chickens and possibly pull together a small picture book of them… we shall see!

In case anyone was wondering, therapy at BetterHelp is still going great! I am mostly grateful with the therapist I was matched up with. The work we are doing is putting so many things into a new perspective, and I am finally understanding what the “inner child” is all about. Fascinating, and I am learning to recognize what is often under my surface feelings… it’s never too late to try and find new tools for being a better person :-)
