No snow falling today, just the temperature... But I'm happy to see the bright white on the ground rather than the brown grass . . . and the sun is out! Yesterday we went tromping in the woods and found a perfect little tree -- slightly Charlie-Brown-ish, but with more branches . . . over all, everything is fine in our little corner of the world. Hope it is in yours as well.

We have 8-10 inches of snow... maybe a horde of snow people would be a better way to move it, rather than plowing :-)
I want to say Thank You to everyone who has supported me this year, it was a wild ride for me: shipping cards, learning about the craft fair circuit, and settling on a place to stick my art on fun products -- and I couldn't have done it without my family and friends and random kindred spirits that have crossed path (in real life and online!)... so...
Good (snowy) morning, everyone! It's December 12th, and I feel like it's finally appropriate to hear Christmas music! Everywhere. All the time. Whether I want to or not. May the force be with you as we draw ever closer to the 25th.
It's Monday and I am hoping you all find something bright and shiny (or at least yummy) to get through the day...
Snow is on the way. The shorter days and shrinking daylight are finally taking a toll on me. I guess I am counting down to Solstice as well...
... and we got a dusting of snow last night, so pull on those winter boots! It's coming!
I'm working today but I'd rather be home doing this...

I had assumed we would have some snow by now, and planned today as a nice quiet snowy Sunday... no such luck... but here's a little snowflake to remind you that winter will be here sooner than later.
Tis the season for ear worms on the radio... in the grocery store... in the mall...
Hey! Did you know there are only 24 days left until Christmas?
When we had our first "real" snow the other day I went for a walk and spied a small snow spider also out, apparently enjoying some winter activities as well. I imagine spiders weave excellent snowshoes.
